Welcome to WAW Car Rental. By booking or renting a vehicle from us, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before confirming your reservation.

1. Rental Eligibility

• Renters must be 21 years or older.

• A valid passport or national ID and a valid driver’s license are required.

• The renter must be the primary driver unless additional drivers are approved.

2. Reservation & Booking

• A reservation fee is required to secure the vehicle and rental dates.

• Reservation fees are non-refundable in case of no-show or cancellation made within 48 hours of pickup.

• Reservation fees are deducted from the total rental cost at delivery.

3. Payment & Deposit

• Full rental payment is due at vehicle delivery.

• A refundable security deposit is required (amount varies by vehicle).

• Accepted payment methods include Zelle, CashApp, debit/credit card, and cash.

• The security deposit will be refunded after vehicle inspection, provided no damages or violations occur.

4. Vehicle Use

The renter agrees to:

• Drive the vehicle responsibly and legally

• Not smoke inside the vehicle

• Not use the vehicle for racing, off-road driving, commercial transport, or illegal activities

• Not allow unauthorized drivers

The renter is responsible for all traffic violations, tolls, and fines during the rental period.

5. Fuel Policy

• Vehicles must be returned with the same fuel level as received.

• Additional charges apply if the vehicle is returned with less fuel.

6. Vehicle Condition & Damages

• The renter must return the vehicle in the same condition as received.

• The renter is responsible for damages not covered by agreement, including but not limited to:

  • Tires and rims

  • Windshield or mirrors

  • Interior damage or excessive cleaning

  • Lost or damaged keys

Repair or replacement costs may be deducted from the security deposit.

7. Late Returns

• Vehicles returned late without prior notice may incur additional charges.

• Failure to return the vehicle on the agreed date may result in extra fees or legal action.

8. Pickup & Delivery

• Pickup and delivery are available in Santiago and at STI (Cibao International Airport) upon request.

• Delivery fees may apply depending on location and rental duration.

9. Liability

WAW Car Rental is not responsible for:

• Personal belongings left in the vehicle

• Delays caused by weather, traffic, or force majeure

• Losses due to misuse of the vehicle

10. Agreement Termination

WAW Car Rental reserves the right to terminate the rental agreement immediately if these terms are violated, without refund.

11. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Dominican Republic.
